When I kicked off my sabbatical year, I had this running to-do list of things I kept putting off. And one of those lingering tasks was sorting out the tangle of cables, gadgets, and connectors scattered all over my office. Of course, the year was coming to an end and I thought, "Jorge, it's now or never." That’s how Digital Drawer was born.

Basically, I turned my own need, and let’s be honest, my procrastination, into a super simple app. Digital Drawer is my way of letting anyone find that mysterious cable in seconds, instead of buying duplicates or digging through boxes forever.

So picture this: you open a drawer, and instead of just seeing a mess in the real world, you scan a QR code and instantly know what’s inside digitally. I added a bit of AI magic so it can recognize items from a photo and tell you exactly what that cable is, or show you which devices it’s compatible with.

In the end, it’s all about making life easier and bridging that gap between the physical and digital worlds.
